The Simple Parasite Detox Bath You Didn’t Know You Needed

Between microplastics in our food and mystery chemicals in our laundry detergents, we're all soaking up more than we think. While we can’t avoid it all, a simple detox bath is one of those small rituals that helps our bodies unwind and feel supported, like a gentle reset button for yourself and everyone you love.

As a mom, one of my favorite ways to support my kids’ health naturally is through simple, non-toxic practices. One of our go-to’s is what we call our Mini Detox Spa Night: a gentle anti parasite support bath paired with a belly-button roller. It’s kid-friendly, effective, and feels like a cozy reset for their little bodies. And guess what? It calms their nervous systems before bedtime.

The bath itself is made with magnesium flakes to relax growing muscles, baking soda to soothe skin, bentonite clay to draw out impurities, and a touch of organic castor oil for digestion and lymph support. I add a few drops of dōTERRA essential oils like clove, lemon, and lavender, mixed with carrier oil, and then sprinkle everything into warm water. My kids soak for 15–20 minutes, and sometimes we make it extra fun with warm lemon water to sip on for a gentle internal detox.

Before the bath, I also love rolling a castor-oil blend with frankincense, lemon, and lavender over their belly button and liver area. Think of it as opening the body’s “drain” so the bath can do its job even better.

These small steps are powerful reminders that wellness doesn’t have to be complicated, it can be simple, nurturing, and something your kids actually look forward to. I hope you take a moment to enjoy this for yourself and your loved ones.
